Sizzling Summer Readathon

Weekends are my main reading time, so I thought it would be fun to join the Sizzling Summer Readathon hosted by Once Upon a Chapter. The Readathon runs all day today, Saturday, and Sunday. Obviously, I’m a little late posting.

There’s no competition and I won’t be asking any of you for donations (although, now that I think about it, I’ll be happy to take your donation…), it’s just a fun excuse to give ourselves permission to read.
What I’m reading: I picked four books, and it’s possible that I’ll get through all of them this weekend, but I have things to do tomorrow, so probably not. But, I’ve already started one book, so who knows?
One Day by David Nicholls (431 pages)
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald (175 pages)
Angel Song by Shelia Walsh & Kathryn Cushman (332 pages)
Hot, Shot, and Bothered by Nora McFarland (281 pages)

I’m already on page 316 of One Day, so that’s the biggest one out of the way.

  1. @Nora Great book!

@Lisa Jo & Tracy I'm having fun. I don't usually pay attention to how much I read.

@leeswammes Grab a box of tissues. That's all I'm saying.

  2. Hey! Thanks for joining us!

I'm going for five books. It may be difficult for me, but hey, it's all about testing our limits, right?

    Good luck and happy reading!

  3. Hi, good luck with reading for the read-a-thon. I'm planning to read One Day next week, what a coincidence. Have fun with all your chosen books! Hope you get through a lot of them.
