Weekends are my main reading time, so I thought it would be fun to join the Sizzling Summer Readathon hosted by Once Upon a Chapter. The Readathon runs all day today, Saturday, and Sunday. Obviously, I’m a little late posting.
There’s no competition and I won’t be asking any of you for donations (although, now that I think about it, I’ll be happy to take your donation…), it’s just a fun excuse to give ourselves permission to read.
What I’m reading: I picked four books, and it’s possible that I’ll get through all of them this weekend, but I have things to do tomorrow, so probably not. But, I’ve already started one book, so who knows?
One Day
by David Nicholls (431 pages)
The Great Gatsby
by F. Scott Fitzgerald (175 pages)
Angel Song
by Shelia Walsh & Kathryn Cushman (332 pages)
Hot, Shot, and Bothered
by Nora McFarland (281 pages)
I’m already on page 316 of One Day, so that’s the biggest one out of the way.
