Okay, so it’s more fun to sing it than to read it. Whatever. Not only is today my birthday, it’s my 201st post on this blog. Woo hoo!
So I’m taking the day off, but there is still a lot going on this week. I’m giving away a copy of Here Burns My Candle by Liz Curtis Higgs for the Summer Giveaway Hop. I’m also giving away an ARC of The Mistress’s Revenge by Tamar Cohen in my weekly “Make It Mine” Monday giveaway.
Don’t forget, I have an extra ticket for the Atlanta Women of Faith conference. If you or someone you know is interested, just let me know.
Enjoy your day! I’m going to go have a birthday.
The Women of Faith Conference is coming to Atlanta August 12-13. I’ve applied to attend for free as a Blogger, although I won’t know for a few weeks if I’ve been accepted. Either way, I thought it would be fun to have a little theme to my book reviews. Some of them, anyway. Between now and August 12, I’ll be reviewing books written by Women of Faith speakers. Because they have so many speakers lined up for different events, I’m sticking with the speakers planned for the Atlanta event.
Speakers for the Atlanta event are: Sheila Walsh, Luci Swindoll, Lisa Harper, Angie Smith, Nicole Johnson, Stephen Arterburn.
I already have a few books planned, but I’d love some input on this. I’ve never read anything by any of these authors. If there is a particular book you’d like to see reviewed, either because you want to know more about it, or because you want others to know about it, let me know. I’ll get to as many of the books as I can between now and August.
