It seems like I can’t even remember what it feels like to relax. I wasn’t just busy this weekend, I’m busy all the time. I hardly sleep, I rarely watch TV, I try to cut back on commitments, and there still isn’t enough time for everything. *sigh*
But every now and then, I give myself permission to do nothing for a little while. I make a cup of peppermint tea, get a book that I don’t have to review, and hole up in the bedroom for 2-3 hours to just relax and read. I feel more relaxed just reading that.
