#BlogFlash2012 Day 2: A Furry Friend

 

We don’t have any pets right now, but the boys are driving me crazy wanting one. Two, really. One wants a dog and the other wants a cat. Of course. I really want them to have pets, because I grew up with pets. I had 20-something dogs and 4 or 5 cats.  So, I’d love for them to have pets, but I’m well aware of who will end up taking care of said pets. Then we have the big-dog, little-dog, outside/inside argument. I think I’ll just buy them more of those stuffed animals I dislike so much.

    Ha! I hear you. Elizabeth got a battery operated dog for Christmas and it goes through batteries at an insane rate if you don’t turn it all the way off (even though it goes to “sleep”). I’m thinking your idea of 13 and 20 for being responsible enough would be about right :-)

    Just think of all the fun you will have owning a pet. If interested I have 4 dogs, 2 cats and 2 bunnies. I am happy to ship either of the cats and any dog except my basset hound
