#BlogFlash2012 Day 10: Success

I can’t decide whether I want to talk about long-term success in life, or day-to-day successes. Hmm…

We all have different ideas of what long-term success looks like, but I believe we should celebrate all of our “little” successes. When you get 100 blog followers, or sell 100 books, instead of wishing you had more, stop and celebrate. Then plan for your next goal so you can celebrate your next level of success. :-)

BlogFlash2012 is hosted by Terri Giuliano Long.

This is a wonderful post, Amanda. It is true that it’s often easy to think, “Wow, I did this, what could I do next?”, instead of thinking, “Wow, I did this, I’m so proud.” You’re right – we should take the time to celebrate – there’s more than enough in life that forces us to think ahead instead of enjoying the now!

Great advice! It’s good to celebrate the little steps!

What a lovely thought, and you’re absolutely right! Celebrating the small victories is so important :)

    Great post Amanda.

I agree that small achievements should be celebrated rather than aiming high all the time. That’s the approach I’ve taken with my writing. Every review and copy sold is a great day for me and I don’t take it for granted.
