Lately, I’ve been investigating resources for a post to help authors who are in the process of deciding if they want to self-publish or go the traditional route. When I asked in my fabulous author/blogger group http://theindieexchange.com, Coral offered to send me a copy of her book. Wow. Wow. Wow. It was full of great information, advice, and links to many great sites you’ll need when you self-publish. I immediately recommended the book to two friends who are currently trying to make their publishing decisions, so they could not only see what’s involved in self-publishing, but also see that there is so much great help out there if they choose to do so.
Coral updates the book twice a year because so much changes in both the publishing world and the internet. She just published the latest edition on July 1, and this one has even more information and advice, because several great authors and bloggers contributed. As did I. Yep, I’m in a book! The book is only 99 cents, and more than worth the price, but it will be free July 4-8. If you want to get an idea of what’s in the book, Coral is posting excerpts on her blog this week.
If you’re even considering self-publishing, you don’t want to miss this book. I’m going camping today with the kids and won’t be able to post this tomorrow. (WordPress doesn’t always publish scheduled posts.) So, go buy it today, or bookmark this post and go get it free tomorrow.
