Okay, it’s not really that bad. I just need to know what my readers think about this. I’ve added a poll at the bottom of the page.
Last year I wrote a post I called “Is Requiring “Follows” or “Likes” to Enter a Contest a Good Idea?” and I really haven’t changed my opinion on the subject. I have not participated in some pretty cool drawings that I would love to offer my readers, because entries into the drawings include liking and/or following oodles of blogs. These are all optional entries, but still…
However, I recently received an email about a book blast for what sounds like a great book. And all the participating blogs will be on the Rafflecopter form, with entries for liking and/or following. The prize is a $100 Amazon gift card. I would love to participate, not only to promote this book, but also to offer my readers the chance to win the gift card. But I want to know what you think about it.
Would you like me to post these great drawings as long as the “follow” entries are optional? Or are we keeping this a “no-like” zone? I need some input. I have about 50 regular readers, and I’m sure at least a few of you have opinions…
Should I post multi-blog drawings that have large book-related prizes, even if they have those like and follow entries?
